Wikimedia Foundation minor edit
[edit]
Hi Sirblademan! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Wikimedia Foundation and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. 1101 (talk) 05:36, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- I heavily apologize for editing the Wikimedia Foundation article dear user. Hopefully you will change your mind and not get mad at me. Sirblademan (talk) 00:52, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- Don't apologize for editing. I have not changed my mind. I will not get mad at you. I have no problem with your edit (other than the lack of space after the comma you added). I did not revert your edit, someone else did. Don't consider this a warning, just a reminder that substantive changes are not to be marked as minor, a mistake I've made myself on many occasions. :^) 1101 (talk) 10:04, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Metallica. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 00:18, 3 April 2025 (UTC)

Guys, should i quit Wikipedia for life?
[edit]I was a newcomer of Wikipedia since i dreamed about creating my own account for everyone to view my user page. I have been getting warnings from other users for my article edits, and i am sick and tired of this. Sirblademan (talk) 03:33, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Burj Khalifa, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Perhaps editing in English is difficult for you. Review List of Wikipedias for choosing a different language for editing. Zefr (talk) 23:30, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
- What can i do to not be criticized for my crude, offensive, unacceptable, and disrespectable edits about The Burj Khalifa? Sirblademan (talk) 23:49, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- This is a late reply, but I would like to say a few things. No one called your edits crude, offensive, unacceptable or disrespectable. You shouldn't beat yourself up due to your edits being reverted. It shows a lack of confidence in yourself to contribute. Be bold, but don't continue to bring back your edits that have been deemed disruptive without attempting to seek consensus. You've edited Burj Khalifa many times, with most of the edits being very similar, and even after they get reverted, you attempt to add them back. If you really believe your edits are helping Wikipedia and that others can't see that, please attempt to seek consensus with them. Explain why you think your edits are helping, but stay open to why other editors think they're disruptive. And as the original message says, your edits often lack proper English grammar. They give off the impression that perhaps you have difficulty writing in English. And if you do, please either attempt to understand English grammar more, or as the original message says choose a different language to edit in. Please don't take anything I said as an insult, instead treat it as a opportunity to learn and become better at editing. Keep trying, and continue to help Wikipedia.
