Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Scotland, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Bazzargh (talk) 11:02, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jet engine. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:29, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Launch loop, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems that both Frank Whittle and Hans von Ohain are credited in Wikipedia for inventing it. I would counter that Hans von Ohain's role must be given the same weight as Whittle's, as they rightly are in this same publication. Do try to edit for the other side once in a while! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:50, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reading further, Hans von Ohain's contributions appear to have led to independent development within Germany. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:52, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

The reference you're providing is completely inadequate; we need something traceable back to primary sources. I'm just going to continue to revert these kinds of changes, I don't see that you're giving me or anyone else any choice here. I don't discount what you're saying is true, but we need good references.- (User) WolfKeeper (Talk) 23:27, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
