Athlete infoboxes
editHi there, the additions you have made on winter athlete pages infoboxes pertaining to the New Zealand games unfortunately do not warrant relevancy for the infoboxes. However, you may enter this information in the body of the article. At this time only the Olympics, World Championships, and X-Games qualify for notability, though the latter is now up for date. Please try to follow this model as it becomes cumbersome to change. Just remember that you can insert the information in the "body" of the article. Otherwise keep up the good work! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. List of college athletic conferences in Canada moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, List of college athletic conferences in Canada, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Karl Malone, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per MOS:NICKNAME, a leading "the" is not capitalized in a nickname. —Bagumba (talk) 14:07, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

PPC candidate sources in 45th election article
editHi Skylerbuck.
I've been ignoring the fundraising pages for candidates because the pages are almost all, if not entirely all, for candidates who ran in the previous election in the same riding and have a pre-2024 copyright, making them ambiguous as a source. The PPC does have a candidate page specifically for the election but almost all their candidates are missing.
I'm very grateful for hunting down better sources but I don't think these individual PPC pages are useful as a source. I welcome your opinion. G. Timothy Walton (talk) 04:48, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for that.
I noticed that too. I know that a few months ago all of those candidates with individual pages were listed on the candidates page, but then taken off and they only have a few listed now. I honestly wasn't sure if those pages were a good source, so I appreciate your feedback. Skylerbuck (talk) 04:53, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- A point I will make is that many of the PPC candidate fundraising pages list the names of the new ridings, indicating that the pages are created for the next election.
For reference, this is what the PPC candidate page looked like in February: https://web.archive.org/web/20240225105221/https://www.thepeoplespartyofcanada.ca/candidates Skylerbuck (talk) 05:09, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- I missed the new riding names on the pages; good catch. So they had a candidate page with a 2024 copyright, then later they replaced most of the entries with fundraising pages with a 2023 copyright. I have to admit, this is new facepalmery to me. I feel like ignoring their fundraising pages but that might violate WP:NPOV.
- I guess we're stuck with their poor web design. G. Timothy Walton (talk) 13:46, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
Skylerbuck, are you having problems getting PPC pages to display anything more than the menus and a few words? G. Timothy Walton (talk) 03:17, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I think some of the PPC candidate pages are just sparsely detailed. I'm honestly not sure why. Skylerbuck (talk) 03:46, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
