The only way it can be included on Wikipedia is if the authors are prepared to release it either into the public domain or under the Gnu Free Documentation Licence (text here). This will allow anyone to use the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes and allow anyone to edit it any way they like. Generally, it's better just to write it in your own words, since that gives you the opportunity to write it in encyclopedic language rather than the vaguely promotional stuff that usually comes off websites. Generally, the vaguely promotional stuff quickly gets edited into a neutrally-written article. -Splashtalk 22:01, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

And by the way, they would need to email someone to that effect. The copyright owner can email me through Special:Emailuser/Splash, stating that they have read and understood the GFDL and are prepared to release the material under the terms of the GFDL. -Splashtalk 22:06, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
