Moses
editHello, and thanks for adding a source. But if you look at that BBC article, it says Wigan have accepted a bid and Mr Moses is free to speak into Chelsea. What it doesn't say, is that he's signed for them. Until Chelsea say he's signed for them, he hasn't. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 20:39, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
The Real World: St. Thomas
editHi. Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but your edit to The Real World: St. Thomas has been removed, because it consists of copyrighted material added to the article without permission from MTV.com. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, so please make sure to paraphrase the material you find in sources. In addition, material on Wikipedia must be written in a neutral, dispassionate tone, without the informal narrative, slang wording ("hooked up") or rhetorical questions that are often found in promotional material.
Also, please make sure your additions, exhibit qualities of good writing, including proper grammar, and not phrases like "Swift tells the roommates that him and LaToya..."
Lastly, if you're new to Wikipedia, please preview your edits, and/or check them after saving them, so that they do not result in errors like this one. If your edits end up creating such an error and you can't fix it, try asking other editors like myself for help.
If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 15:42, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- You can mostly certainly use websites as sources. But you cannot copy entire passages verbatim, because that's copyright infringement. You have to paraphrase what you find. Sorry that my first message wasn't clear. Nightscream (talk) 03:52, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
