Hello, Smahmic, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Your link is to a pdf which seems likely to be a copyright violation. Linking to such articles is against such policy. See wp:copyright violation (bottom of lede): Copyright infringing material should also not be linked to. and WP:COPYVIOCITE. As Merchants of Doubt is in the bibliography, you can cite it using something similar to cite_note-76. If left as-is, it will likely be removed. See wp:Citing sources and the other help links at the top of that page. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 22:29, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I changed the reference to link to the existing entry in the bibliography. Is this sufficient?Smahmic (talk) 22:46, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for removing the copyvio link, it looks good. It would preferably include pages numbers. see template:Harvard citation no brackets#How to use - p=page number or pp=page range. If you know what the page(s) are, would you please add? Thanks Jim1138 (talk) 23:05, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
