Highway 6 reversions
Please stop. The infobox is only there to provide background information, not completely replace the article. That's what the prose is for. —O (说 • 喝) 00:39, 23 September 2007 (GMT)
- Well, from the looks of your revision, I'd have to say that it doesn't completely replace the article, but replaces a considerable amount of it. Multiple alternate names aren't needed in the infobox—the route description does that job if there are multiple names. The direction parameter is completely redundant to the direction_a and direction_b parameters. Junctions other than the major ones (401, 403, 26) should be noted in the route description and the exit/junction list. Partial decommissioning of a section should be noted in the history (which this article badly needs). I'm okay with the counties listing; just make it a comma-delimited list, not a line break one. Cities—that should be in the route description and the exit/junction list. System isn't needed since the browse handles it, and is therefore redundant. If my prior comment seemed harsh to you, I apologize for the misunderstanding, but just bear in mind that much harsher comments can be seen in WP:FAC. Hi Smcafirst,
(Hope I'm responding in the right place. I'm still familiarizing myself with Wikipedia).
I would definitely be interested in joining the Golden Horseshoe Roads project. I've always enjoyed exploring my (extended) neighbourhood and I've enjoyed writing about some of my trips here. My contributions, for the time being, will likely be limited to York Regional roads. I live in Richmond Hill and enjoy taking long drives or walks to Newmarket, East Gwillimbury and Georgina. I'm only occasionally in Durham, Simcoe and Peel, but I might contribute to those categories occasionally. My next few articles will probably be about the roads in Georgina.
With that said, I am a busy professional so I can't guarantee how much time I will be able to devote to this. I might be able to spend several hours on here on weekend, and then I might be stuck at the office for the next few weeks. Hope this is okay.
Thanks again for the invitation.

I have the code for ontario highways template here:
I hope this helps. Also, Highway 410's proposed alignment to Highway 10 (new extension) has the temporary designation of Highway 7276. RingtailedFox • Talk • Stalk 00:45, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Marriage With A Fool 2.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Marriage With A Fool 2.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:41, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
