Cricket lists
editWow - Bangladeshi national cricket captains; Indian national cricket captains; Sri Lankan national cricket captains. What excellent lists - well done!
(Did you copy the "rowspan"/"colspan" formatting I put into Bangladeshi national cricket captains or strike upon it yourself? I much prefer it to the <br> style used in Australian national cricket captains - much easier to keep track of which row is which set of result, plus the number and captain's names are automatically centred in their cell). -- ALoan (Talk) 14:33, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I came here to say well done also - great work you're doing on those lists! - and I do much prefer the new layout. - Ian ≡ talk 01:43, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Yep, well done. Just one thing, though - there's no need to categorise into New Zealand cricketers when a player is already in a subcategory - such as New Zealand batsmen/bowlers/all-rounders or wicket-keepers. It's just a quirk of Wikipedia categorisation. Sam Vimes 08:54, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

Featured List of the Day Experiment
editI am contacting individuals in the order of the number of featured lists that they had created by Novemeber 10, 2007. You have created several. So you are among the first. There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. You may submit multiple lists for consideration.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:LOTD) 17:06, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
The article David Mills (cricketer) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Harrias talk 18:18, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
