Welcome!
editHello, Sneakgeek2, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Young Life, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Marianna251TALK 16:03, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Understood, I didn't know deleting my own talk comment was bad practice, I will keep that in mind for future projects! thank you very much for being so polite, it is greatly appreciated! Sneakgeek2 (talk) 16:49, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- No worries! It's fine for you to delete your own comments, although generally it's a good idea to leave them alone if someone's replied. If you think your comment needs to be deleted and there are replies, you can leave a quick note explaining that you've removed a comment where it used to be. The only reason I restored your edit is because you'd also deleted a reply from another user, probably by accident. Deleting another user's comment was the only bad practice issue. I hope this helps!
