- Hi Stas000D. I see what you mean about the wording in the gladius article. I think the distinction is made by the use of the indefinite article ("a single extant member of the Octopodiformes" versus "the single extant member of the Octopodiformes"), but perhaps this is still not clear? Maybe "in one living member of the Octopodiformes" would be better? mgiganteus1 (talk) 17:47, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- It seems to me, articles aren't very conspicuous during cursory reading, so, maybe such wording really would be better. I think, texts should be "foolproof". But my English is worse than yours, so, it's better if you decide this:) Stas000D (talk) 18:19, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Physarum polycephalum image
editI saw you removed the P. Polycephalum image from the Italian wikipedia article. If you look at the original source (National Human Genome Research Istitute) it is said that image represents a P. polycephalum. So your action on the 23rd Jenuary 2015 was inexact.--Frank50 s (talk) 22:14, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for the message. Let's discuss this issue at the talk page of the file or here. Stas (talk) 21:12, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, but for now it stays, if the Institute says that it isn't a P. polycephalum we'll fix the picture. However you can contact the author too.--Frank50 s (talk) 14:51, 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for August 17
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Patera (planetary nomenclature), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Io. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rimae Fresnel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arcuate (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
