Building historical data that reflects local history of a Nova Scotia Alderman/Deputy Major, Founding member of the Spryfield business commission and the operator of Nova Scotia's largest Ambulance system. The reason it was removed was a lack of linking references. I have spend the day copying articles from the Nova Scotia Archive and have more to add. Why would the largest city in Atlantic Canada name a park, a road, and a community centre after Mr. Walker if he was not a notable person in our region? In 1960's there was no rules for ambulance services in Nova Scotia, Mr. Walker set the ground work for the future EMS system that we have now in Emergency Health Service. There is so much that this person has done for the city, the province and in business and politics. http://www.paramedicsociety.com/?page_id=115 AlmightyMac (talk) 13:08, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
