Hello, Solidinformation, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits [here] have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Introductory section of Manhattan Beach, California

edit

The lead section of a Wikipedia article is supposed to summarize the important aspects of the topic—see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section. In the case of Manhattan Beach, California, the text you restored includes details which were adequately summarized by the sentence "The city has expensive housing and well-educated residents" and already included in the sections titled "Economy" and "Education". Going into full detail in the lead puts too much emphasis on these issues and makes the lead a bit too long. Would you kindly consider reverting your change?—Stepheng3 (talk) 20:29, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Manhattan Beach, California, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted (undone) by WPPilot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Furthermore I have concern about your WP:COI, while it is true that no one "owns" a Wikipedia page your contributions do not match the style that Wikipedia uses and furthermore, your edit history shows your only interest is in pushing your WP:POV on the the Manhattan Beach, California article. Further review of your contributions show a clear objective in reaffirming the "value" of Manhattan Beach, California homes.
  • Please use the talk pages and collaborate with other editors. Edit warring as you have been doing with @Stepheng3: and pushing your point of view is not acceptable here.

I suggest you find other places to contribute or you could run the risk of being blocked from editing on Wikipedia. Thank you. talk→ WPPilot  18:28, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  §FreeRangeFrogcroak 01:40, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
