October 2020
A page you created has been nominated for deletion because it is a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and has unsourced content, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
Do not create articles about living people that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative, unreferenced biographies of living people, along with attack pages, are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy may be blocked from editing. ―Susmuffin Talk 21:01, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Panorama (British TV programme). 331dot (talk) 09:27, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Just some random dude with a pc/rawr x3
Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at User:Just some random dude with a pc/rawr x3. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Douglas X-3 Stiletto: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. WindTempos (talk • contribs) 01:16, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

Edit warring at Algorithm page
Your recent editing history at Algorithm shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 2601:196:180:DC0:7C5A:37CB:A8C6:32D7 (talk) 02:40, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Help with finding an 'archived copy' of a youtube video ...
How do I do that ? 24.161.66.164 (talk) 00:56, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- Not an archive of the video, an archive of the original link. Archives such as the Wayback Machine are heavily recommended. Someone, i guess(talk i guess|le edit list) 01:07, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
The original link (well, a mirror of the original, the original is a dead link) is a relatively meaningless "factoid" (their word) in a computer magazine that does not exist in its original form and that says no more than the source of the link. The youtube video, however, captures the EXACT reference. Sure, it is probably not going to be a permanent reference but it is way better than an already dead link that did not explicate the source at all. Can't let "perfect be the enemy of the good" etc... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.161.66.164 (talk) 06:38, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to St. George, Louisiana, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:13, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm confused. The link appears to be a redlink and looking through my contributions it appeared you had removed some citations without an edit reason. The action was done with UltraViolet which does not provide an option to preview. Someone, i guess(talk i guess|le edit list) 04:16, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- The "citations" were just inline external links and references to other wikipedia articles, and I removed the entry from the "Notable People" section because those sections are not supposed to include redlinked entries. Maybe you should switch to a tool that gives the option, or just edit manually. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:26, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
