I am trying to do a research on the evolution of plug-socket standards all over the world through recent history. It would be able to obtain a table like the one published here, but in different moments in time (1950, 1970, 1990...). Thanks. Carlos
- Interesting idea. Actually I have to admit that virtually all my knowledge regarding the topic comes from those tables (or Wikipedia pages in general). I'd recommend limiting the research to countries that really have standards (i.e. are not using X different types still today), or even limiting it to the introduction of mandatory grounding and the like.
- That seems difficult enough to me, especially because the introduction of new standards itself can take several decades. SomnusDe (talk) 14:55, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
