Hello, I'm Katieh5584. I noticed that you made a change to an article, If I Loved You: Gentlemen Prefer Broadway, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dear Wiki editors,

I've made the changes you requested re: the number of citations. There's now only one place with 3 citations and they're all necessary as removing one would mean the article content is not verifiable.

I've found the reference you requested (below), but since it refers to a category I don't know where to put it, so I'm pasting it here:

Brunette, Patrick “Lumière sur Jörn Fugues, Montreal, 22 March 2013. Retrieved on 30 June 2014. “J’imagine que c’est à ce moment que j’ai réalisé que j’étais gai.” (Translation: I guess it was then that I realised I was gay.)

Thank you,

Lulu

Dear Tim,

on second thoughts, I've decided to remove the sexuality categories from the relevant section, so citing that reference won't be necessary after all. I hope you can give the article the go-ahead now. Thank you!

this diff shows you taht it was case sensitive. HARD to spot. The other item was to create a redirect page. Easy when you know how. Fiddle Faddle 15:49, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Tim, I've sent you another email, I look forward to your reply. Thank you!

Ignore the grading. Only the Wikiproject members care, and they are likely to send someone along at some point to look. If you like, remove the class totally and see what they give you. Honestly these are only for guidance. The readership never looks at talk pages. I chose Start because it;s very well on the way.. Have a look at WP:GA and see if you can work it up to that, or WP:DYK to see if a DYK can come from it. I doubt it will make a WP:FA but try! Treat these are frills and fripperies, honestly. Classes are a pain in the fundament in my view, for me, you and everyone else. They are always wrong. Fiddle Faddle 16:10, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh, if you want to try for GA or FA, WP:GOCE may well help you. Nice folk. Fiddle Faddle 16:17, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Tim,

one final thing, I've tried to google Wiki(pedia) + Jorn Weisbrodt (with and without umlaut), and nothing comes up. Any idea why?

Thank you

Lulu 16:24, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Allow time to elapse. Google does not index 100% of the pages of any website, even Wikipedia. Always remember that Google is an advertising agency, not a search engine. If your boy is unlikely to generate advertising revenue it will delay indexing him (0.8 probability) Fiddle Faddle 23:07, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Permission emails etc

edit

Hi Tim!

Mr Weisbrodt has arranged for two permission emails to be sent to Wikipedia (I've been sent a copy too) regarding use of the 2 photos. How do I check that these permission emails have been processed and the photos won't be deleted? If necessary I can forward you a a copy of the emails. I had put some sort of code with the photos to let Wikipedia know permission was being sought, should I just wait to hear from Wikipedia's permission department and will they delete the "permission sought" code?

Someone without an email address made some changes to the article, nothing major but I wanted to contact him and I don't know how to start a new message once I'm on his talk page. Sorry for being such a newby!!!! Thank you very much for your help Tim,

Lulu

This is complicated. The emails have to have been sent precisely as documented deep in WP:Copyrights. THis includes the files having, as I understand it, previously to have been uploaded, but I am not familiar with the system, and it takes a while. I am going to take the livberty of asking for expert help on your behalf.

Please will an editor familiar with the OTRS and procedures for the donation of copyright materials to Wikipedia read the recent segment above and advice Lulu how to proceed? This will involve a dialogue to determine with precision what has already been done. Fiddle Faddle 20:09, 12 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Tim!

Lulu 20:11, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

Help is always available, It is a matter of awaiting the correct expert, and, of course, knowing how to ask. I am expert in knowing what I do not know   Fiddle Faddle 20:50, 12 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Have the emails been sent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org and did they contain enough information to identify the images, for example a link? Did they clarify that the images have been released under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify them for any purpose, including commercial purposes? Then they'll be acted upon soon, and notes with the OTRS ticket numbers that confirm the indicated license will be added to the file pages. If the emails are received and there's some problem, I'd expect Mr Weisbrodt to receive a reply from OTRS pointing out that problem. If he hasn't heard from OTRS in a couple of days, likely something went wrong with the sending itself.
Regarding the talk page, there's a "New section" tab at the top of every talk page; you can use that to start a new section for your message. As an alternative you could edit the entire talk page via the "Edit" tab, but new messages that aren't related to previous discussions should come in a section of their own to keep better order.
