Speedy deletion nomination of Santifaller

edit

A tag has been placed on Santifaller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Regards, MrScorch6200 (talk · contribs) 21:52, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Christoph Santifaller

edit

Hello Sophie Klieber,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Christoph Santifaller for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 03:23, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The usual criterion for inclusion in Wikipedia is explained here. Very basically, we only summarise information that's already published in reliable sources that're independent of the subject. We do this to ensure both that our information is verifiable, and that it can be written neutrally. Articles that give no indication as to why a subject might meet that criterion are generally speedily deleted. Given that, I've moved the page to User:Sophie Klieber/Christoph Santifaller you'll have a bit more time to work on it. If you have any questions, please ask. Cheers, WilyD 09:41, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
