Hello, Souravjain2424, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Thanks for message. When you talk about your wikipedia page, I assume you mean a page about you. You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Your attempts so far have had no in-line references of any kind, let alone independent third-party sources.
  • There is nothing in what you have written to suggest that you are notable enough to merit an article
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:33, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sourav Jain

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sourav Jain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Souravjain2424/Sample page

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Souravjain2424/Sample page requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Please refrain from hijacking pages as you did with Hakan Peker. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Compassionate727 (T·C) 15:31, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello, Souravjain2424,
It's crazy that you have to be told this more than once: Stop creating articles, drafts and redirects about yourself. Next time, you will receive a block for disruptive editing. Liz Read! Talk! 21:01, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Block Notice

edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Alexf(talk) 21:02, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You requested an unblock, when in fact you were not blocked. You are now. Why? You keep writing about yourself, and instead of asking for guidance, or reading the rules, you start by hijacking other articles. That is not acceptable. You have time now to read the help pages. After your block expires, if If you have any questions about Wikipedia, please ask at the Tea House. More disrupting of the project, or outright vandalism will lead to an indefinite block, so please consider, and ask before you continue on this path. -- Alexf(talk) 21:06, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Sourav Jain

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Sourav Jain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Is there anything you want to write about other than yourself? It's doubtful you will be unblocked to write about yourself at this time(please read WP:AUTO as well). Part of the problem was your article hijacking- what is the proper way to create and submit a draft article? (which is actually the hardest thing to attempt on Wikipedia) 331dot (talk) 09:08, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Before I don't know anything more about Wikipedia, self promotion is against Wikipedia, not at that time I have many knowledge about Wikipedia i want to just give my contribution on another article not my self , so please unblock my userpage as soon as possible — Preceding unsigned comment added by Souravjain2424 (talkcontribs) 14:14, 19 Aug 2022 (UTC)
I have moved this message to the bottom of your user talk page so it is with the thread where your block is being discussed. If you want to be unblocked, you will have to demonstrate that you understand some basic protocols and will be a constructive contributor. To do this, you should:
  1. Follow talk page protocols, which include indenting your comments (colons at the start of lines), placing replies below the message being replied to, and placing new threads at the bottom of the page.
  2. Sign comments with four tildes (~~~~)
  3. Demonstrate that you understand policies like WP:Reliable sources by including an edit that you would like to make in your unblock request (or in this thread). Be specific: mention the article, the text you would change, what it would be changed to, ant what reliable sources support the change.
This won't guarantee you get unblocked, but it will help admins to see you as an editor who can be of value to the project, instead of detriment. —C.Fred (talk) 14:37, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
