editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:18, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Stop adding unsourced rumours to the David Duchovny article. I've already stated this; but biographies are subject to a high level of scrutiny regarding the content within, as rumoured or unsourced material can be potentially libellous or damaging. Find a reliable source next time you want to add something to a living person's biography, especially if it concerns their personal life. GRAPPLE X 00:08, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Tgeairn. I noticed that you made a change to an article, David Duchovny, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Tgeairn (talk) 00:11, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to David Duchovny. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Tgeairn (talk) 00:14, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. GRAPPLE X 00:15, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at David Duchovny. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. – Connormah (talk) 01:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
