Speedy deletion nomination of File:AhmedBinFareed.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:AhmedBinFareed.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Why will this be deleted when it's my own work? I can't find where to contest its deletion. EDQ 19:40, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello. A tag has been placed on Ahmed Omar Bin Fareed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

we do not have two accounts. just this one. what further information do you need to give you confidence and trust in us.EDQ 14:20, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

'We' should not be using one account. It may seem confusing, but on Wikipedia, unless there are special reasons, someone with an account should stick to that one account. I have a second account, without admin powers, that is mainly used for testing things. On the other hand, two or more people must not share one account. You are using the word 'we' which means there is more than one of you. Peridon (talk) 14:30, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

thanks for the message. my friend i, have discussed this. she has said she will set up her own account. i will continue to use this one. i will be the only user of this account from now on. we are very disappointed. on top, this allegation on top of deleting an article she worked very hard in preparing. none of us are experts in wiki but we have tried our best to fit in. the stanards are extraordinary. please can you unblock 'my account'. thank you

You will need to make a new request. Please post it here at the bottom of the page. Peridon (talk) 14:40, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

please unblock my account. i do not have more than one account.EDQ 14:51, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

It is obvious that User:Nerdigrass and you either are the same person or are working together so closely that you are indistinguishable. See WP:MEAT. Huon (talk) 10:58, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

note: my understanding of why i was blocked had nothing to do with my account being used by my friend and myself. it was because admin thought i and my friend had another account.

also would it be possible to help me tweek the deleted article in order for it to be accepted. although unconventional on wiki(didnt know), you will see the external links i added show you how popular Ahmed Omar Bin Fareed is when you search for his name in arabic. he is a notable character in the Arab world. the idea was to ensure the awareness extends to the wider community.
