thank you for semi-protecting the Solomon Souza page
I am grateful for your intervention. As a writer who uses Wikipedia often, I have been shocked and confused by the constant use of this particular page to post slanderous, nonsensical, and also vicious diatribe about a young artist and his family. This, to my mind, is not what Wiki is supposed to be, which is why I have finally taken the unusual step of signing in myself to see what can be done. Once again, my gratitude.VMinGoa (talk) 08:59, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Julian Radcliffe - removed untrue and discrediting sentences which cast aspersions on the good character of Mr. Radcliffe and his work
Dear Soyoko
How do I make my edits on Julian Radcliffe's bio stick? I typed up an explanation, see the text I typed in subject heading pasted above. I suspect a disgruntled partner of Julian Radcliffe is attempting to cast aspersions on his work and good character and I am on a mission to removed these defamatory sentences. How can I do this?

Julian Radcliffe bio entry
Dear Soyoko
I am trying to correct inaccurate statements in Julian Radcliffe's entry. He most certainly co-founded Control Risks in 1975 as an example. We strongly suspect someone with intent to defame Julian has edited his bio on purpose. Previous attempts to edit have failed. Can you please help me know how to edit his bio to delete things that are not true? 80.0.74.27 (talk) 12:56, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Greenville Public Library
The absorption ten years ago could easily be cited. Its membership requires a lookup in the new system and cannot. You seemed to have missed my edit note and the nature of my first edit.

Redwarn usage
SoyokoAnis,
I'm disappointed to see that you've returned to using RedWarn without seeking any advice on this topic before hand, at least that I'm aware of. I've already noticed several bad reverts, including restoring bad grammar, removing sourced additions without adequate reason, reverting an IP as good faith but simply warning them they didn't use an edit summary (No information on why their edit was already bad), reverting plot edits as lacking sources (Plots are primary sourced by nature). Not all of your reverts are bad, but enough are that something needs said. If you're going to do this against all advice not to, PLEASE limit your reverting efforts to completely obvious vandalism. DanCherek. -- ferret (talk) 14:22, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Ferret I have removed the RedWarn script from my js. I undestand what I've done was wrong. SoyokoAnis - talk 14:51, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for removing it; I strongly recommend keeping it disabled for the foreseeable future and focusing on things other than patrolling recent changes, maintenance work, or other gnoming. I agree with everything ferret said, 100%. Many of your recent reverts didn't make sense and your terse replies above to new editors were not actually addressing their concerns. I have no doubt you're operating in good faith, but I don't want to see you risk getting re-blocked for similar reasons as your original block, especially as it would be much harder to successfully appeal this time around. {{Computer death}} on your userpage
Hey there. I noticed you have the template computer death on your userpage. The source on the page is: "{{Computer death|Currently without a computer any may receive a new one within a month or two.|name=SoyokoAnis}}". Thing is, that template doesn't expect a parameter, so that middle statement is ignored and not rendered anywhere.
Considering you're on a wikibreak from not having a computer it's unlikely you'll read this before you get it back and just remove it entirely anyway but I figured I'd let you know. Snowmanonahoe (talk) 02:00, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
