I'm not sure if we have several anons editing or mainly one using an account and IP addresses. I managed to actually find a reference in an early version, and it keeps being moved so it references something that it doesn't mention. Lots of the usual OR as well. I'm probably at 3RR or worse now. Maybe I should give up on these bad articles. Dougweller (talk) 16:03, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would wade in there but I am uncertain whether it is the same community as Kachwaha - rather suspect that it is. - Sitush (talk) 16:14, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
for info kushwaha is an obc group with kshatriya prentensions basically agriculturist like kunbi.kachwaha is a rajput clan.Pernoctator (talk) (edit conflict)Me know nothing, but "The Modern review: Volume 84 books.google.comRamananda Chatterjee - 1948 - Snippet view The clan Kachhwaha is the corrupted form of the word Kushwaha." So it appears we need to merge them. I see that Kachwaha has references at least." Which contradicts what Pernoctator says, but there are a number of sources that say they are the same [1]. Dougweller (talk) 16:53, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
i will go mad explaining this there is a clan among rajput called gurjar and also a caste called gurjar.what do you say now.Pernoctator (talk) 16:56, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
look here obc list delhi government here.kushwaha is listed. there are lost of castes in india that claim to be rajputs. Pernoctator (talk) 16:58, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- I suggest that you take it to the article talk page. The history clearly shows that this article has been redirected to Kachwaha on several occasions and that at one point it was a copy/paste of that article. The situation needs to be resolved at the appropriate venue. - Sitush (talk) 17:02, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- We could just take Kushwaha, which in any case is the most recent article, to AfD as a duplicate. Unless I'm wrong about the sources, this seems pretty clear. - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dougweller (talk • contribs) 17:18, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi - could you take a look at my latest edit here and see if I'm right in reverting Yogesh Khandke (talk · contribs) and if I am, keep an eye on it? I'll be busy for a few days and although I may be able to keep up with my watchlist I might not. I haven't looked at any of his other edits. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 10:51, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

MSU Interview
Dear SpacemanSpiff,
My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the community HERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.
So a few things about the interviews:
- Interviews will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
- Interviews can be conducted over skype (preferred), IRC or email. (You choose the form of communication based upon your comfort level, time, etc.)
- All interviews will be completely anonymous, meaning that you (real name and/or pseudonym) will never be identified in any of our materials, unless you give the interviewer permission to do so.
- All interviews will be completely voluntary. You are under no obligation to say yes to an interview, and can say no and stop or leave the interview at any time.
- The entire interview process is being overseen by MSU's institutional review board (ethics review). This means that all questions have been approved by the university and all students have been trained how to conduct interviews ethically and properly.
Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. If interested, please send me an email at obar@msu.edu (to maintain anonymity) and I will add your name to my offline contact list. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can post your name HERE instead.
If you have questions or concerns at any time, feel free to email me at obar@msu.edu. I will be more than happy to speak with you.
Thanks in advance for your help. We have a lot to learn from you.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Obar --Jaobar (talk) 07:26, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
