@Spacemansuit: I have a few comments on your draft:

• For sites like these, I think there are two basic formats you can adopt. You can choose to have an article which is a "stub", basically no section dividers and a clear start to finish, see Tierradentro as an example (though your sources are better). If you want a longer article or one with clearer section divides, you can look at Malagana. In either case you'll want a section at the bottom for references so those can be broken out of the body text.
• Otherwise you may want to add "wikilinks to other related articles inline in the text. Local communities, archaeological concepts, etc.
