If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. File:Palestine Recognition.png listed for deletion

edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Palestine Recognition.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

Page merges

edit

Before merging pages it advisable to bring up the discussion on the corresponding talk pages to see if there is any reasonable opposition. I reverted your merging of C# (musical note) and D♭ (musical note). See Talk:D♭ (musical note) for details. --dbolton (talk) 02:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi The spesh man, I am Airplaneman. I saw one of your contributions in my watchlist and noticed that you don't use edit summaries often. Please consider using them 100% of the time to explain your edits and to help prevent misunderstandings. There's even a preference (in your preferences) that you can set to remind you if you haven't left a summary. Happy editing, Airplaneman 20:29, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Vozrozhdeniya Penninsula requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Wikipedia 1.0 team

edit

Hey spesh man, thanks for signing up for the 1.0 team! We're having a meeting on IRC tomorrow - you're welcome to join us. It will be quite a technical discussion, though; we're deciding on how to pick the best revisionID, using some very nifty code developed by the WikiTrust people. Details of the meeting are here.

I see you're interested in Central Asia; do you live in that area? I visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Dushanbe and Almaty in 1987 (a holiday tour supervised by Intourist) - I loved the area, and I came away very impressed. Cheers, Walkerma (talk) 03:27, 12 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article Federation Na Griamel has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of WP:notability. Google finds very few references and almost all of those are mere lists.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 16:15, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

In order to keep the article you need to show more evidence of the existence of the proposal it be a country. Anyone can make up a flag, and google does not seem to have anything that backs up the claims behind it. More independent WP:reliable sources are needed. Can you find out anything more about it other than what is on the website you already reference? noq (talk) 17:15, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
