  Guadalupe College article expansion
Thank you so much for participating in the UTA Black History Month Wikipedia Meetup today! Thanks to your help, we have expanded the Guadalupe College article considerably. I will be nominating it for Did you know (DYK) within a week, a process for encouraging quality new content that will allow it to run on the Wikipedia main page. Thanks so much for your help! DYK for Guadalupe College

edit

On 9 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Guadalupe College, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Guadalupe College president David Abner Jr. (pictured) declined lucrative positions at northern U.S. colleges so that he could continue "conducting a school for the colored youths of the south"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Guadalupe College. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Guadalupe College), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
