Turok
editOlá, SportingLisboa. I have replied to your message on my user talk but I forgot to address the "links to the Turok Wikia page" question. If you are referring to the English Wikipedia's article Turok (video game), then yes, your contributions are in the article's history and can be found by clicking the "View history" tab at the top of the page. If you are referring to the Turok Wiki (found here), then no, your user page does not link there. I apologize if I may have missed your point. Feel free to explain any mistake on my part. Adeus Tiderolls 05:21, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
- Looking at your discussion with Greg Salter I believe I need to clarify my position on your Turok content. My replies to your inquiries were not an endorsement of your content. I apologize if I was not clear. I was attempting to encourage you into discussion regarding your content. You did the right thing in contacting Greg Salter to discuss the matter and I laud your polite, good faith manner. Part of discussion is listening (figuratively speaking, as this is a visual medium). I do not believe Greg Salter was demeaning your contribution but explaining how the content falls short with regard to Wikipedia's guidelines. I will agree with Greg Salter,and Qwyrxian who has also expressed an opinion, that content must be notable (see WP:Notability) to be added to the encyclopedia. To establish notability one must verify (see WP:Verifiability) their content with reliable sources (see WP:Reliable sources). This does not mean that your contributions have no value, just that the content does not meet the standard for inclusion. I would hope that you can find ways to help us at Wikipedia by working within the policies and guidelines. Regards Tiderolls 00:28, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
I'm not going to move the page back again, but I do recommend that you read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (video games), which explains how video game articles should be titled. Turok is not actually named Turok 2008, so should the article's title should not indicate that it is. Reach Out to the Truth 17:37, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
I can't stress enough that there are many Turok video games as you are probably aware of and with the Title of the article just being called 'Turok' maybe directed to the character Turok in the other video games. Do you understand/ The game is called Turok, it was made in 2008 and is a video game. Sorted. It's called Turok 2008 (Video Game) or at least Turok (2008 Video Game). Either way I'm happy, but I'm not happy with it just being called Turok. Many Thanks SportingLisboaXI (talk) 18:01, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
- Turok (2008 video game) might work, if you can get consensus for it. See Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 video game) for an example where such disambiguation was needed. The important thing is that the game's actual title is properly displayed, which is indeed "Turok". Reach Out to the Truth 18:29, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I'll edit that straight away to Turok (2008 Video Game). I won't bother with the talk page buisness as nobody has used it for over a year. If there is a problem it'll be dealt with on talk pages. Sorry for any trouble. Many Thanks. SportingLisboaXI (talk) 18:47, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
- Hello, SportingLisboa. I've come here before answering your message on my user talk just to mention that it's always best to leave a message on an article's talk when you make what might be a major change or a contested change. Even if there is little activity someone may visit the article and want information about the change. Tiderolls 00:37, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
I've responded to your message on my talk. Tiderolls 01:09, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

The article Dark Territory Studios has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject is not notable. No references from 3rd party sources.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:07, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:49, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Dark Territory Studios. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 12:26, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- If you click the link that says "Please share your thoughts on the matter at this article's entry on the Articles for deletion page.", then you get taken to the discussion. Please note our notability guidelines. Subjects must be covered by reliable sources. Right now, there is nothing to cover, because the company is only just started, and a game won't come out for a while. It doesn't need an article. Blake (Talk·Edits) 13:52, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
