Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Derek Hill (racing driver). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--Midgrid(talk) 19:37, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kim, I actually reverted your changes because they removed Hill's F3000 results table from the article. It should be fine for you to edit the page to add more details (although you may wish to read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, just to make sure that you avoid violating the neutral point-of-view policy), as long as you don't remove referenced content without discussing it first.--Midgrid(talk) 18:18, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
You're welcome! If you want to add more results, then the best thing to do would be to create a table like this one (from Ricardo Maurício:

and to change the details as necessary. The more detailed tables which show race-by-race results are generally used only for the top levels of motorsport (it was recently decided at the Motorsport WikiProject that detailed results tables should not be added for any series "below" Formula Three Euroseries level).--Midgrid(talk) 13:08, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your reply! First of all, the "Best finish" field in the box ("infobox" in Wiki-speak) refers to the driver's best championship finish, not best race finish. Looking at the discussion page for the template which creates this infobox, I can see that this issue has been brought up before. As to your other concern, I agree with you - my own interest is in International F3000, so that's what I originally focussed on when I created his article! I have removed the fields from the infobox.--Midgrid(talk) 22:06, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've also added a career summary table to the article using information from driverdb.com, although there are some gaps in the information, and some series are missing entirely.--Midgrid(talk) 22:18, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello again! You'll need to add a source/author/license to the image of Derek, otherwise it will be deleted automtically. Please take a look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for more information, and let me know if you have any questions.--Midgrid(talk) 18:44, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Culverland

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Culverland, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://culverland.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Culverland above 2.jpg

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Culverland above 2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
