editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Haley Strode, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Shellwood (talk) 11:57, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hello! And Thank you for your response and concern on documenting proper sources, however there were no sources supporting the initial facts listed -- which I know to be incorrect, as I created the page. I was simply trying to set the facts straight as I know them. I appreciate your efforts in keeping this page clear of incorrect data! The version you have reverted it to, had been altered many, many, times by people with false information. I will alter it back to the correct information, citing as many sources as possible. I would appreciate if you would help in not changing my corrections. And protecting it from others! If you continue, to change it back to false information, also without sources, I'll have to delete the page. Thank you for your help! --SK 21:17, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Haley Strode, you may be blocked from editing. Shellwood (talk) 21:36, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- You can use google to find out her age, if you change the date, find a source that says so. Shellwood (talk) 21:59, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Please don't delete my responses, so as to undermine my presence in this discussion, (I inserted it back into the coversation above).
Google is informed by the age listed on Wikipedia unfortunately. There is no where else online that states her age, however, I can state that I know the year I changed it to, to be true, and again- I created this page. It has been changed so many times with misinformation and I'm dealing yet again, with your misinformation that is based on nothing but Google - which cannot and should not be listed as a proper source.
AGAIN: The incorrect age listed on Google, is based on the Wiki Page. I am trying to make sure the information provided here is correct. There is also no source that she went to high school at the school listed, which is why I removed it. That was another addition from a random user.
The major problem with your changes, is that you also have no sources. The very thing you're requesting, you cannot provide either. I understand that you believe your actions to be correct, but you are reverting the edits back to what people with no sources have changed it to. Please cease and desist. I created this page to provide proper information and have been battling people changing the page on a daily basis with no sources either --- where were you then? --SK 22:26, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- It dosent matter if you say its incorrect, you need source this BLP edits. Provide a source for your claim or stop. WP:TRUTH. Shellwood (talk) 22:37, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- It also doesn't matter if YOU say the last version was incorrect - you would need a source as well and you don't have one --- Do you see the hypocrisy? If you continue to touch this page without sources, I'm reporting this. --SK 22:43, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Here YOU go [1], [2], [3]. Where can YOU find the date 1990? Shellwood (talk) 22:51, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Those sources are called PICKUPS in the entertainment industry. The information is picked up from googling celebrities. Not even remotely reliable - especially when the misinformation was picked up by Wikipedia! You just cited a website called celeb b-days.com....Don't you see? That date that your seeing everywhere stems from the very false facts you're perpetuating.
Please read below about how to use sources with integrity - Wiki Policy reads:
- Notice about sources*
This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Take extra care to use high-quality sources. Material about living persons should not be added when the only sourcing is tabloid journalism. See more information on sources.
Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted, or if you have other concerns, please report the issue to this noticeboard. If you are connected to one of the subjects of this article and need help, see this page.**
Since you are such a vigilante, and your sources aren't remotely sufficient, we should be able to agree to delete all statements that aren't properly sourced. Those that you listed are lower-quality than tabloids - if there is such a thing. Can we at least agree upon that and stop wasting the time? Though the damage has already been done elsewhere, we can at least do our best on this page with REAL sources. (e.g. interviews, there are many) --SK 23:40, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Dont quote wikipedia when you cant provide any sources for your claims. Where did you find your birthdate? Shellwood (talk) 23:49, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
That’s just my point. You don’t have sources and therefore no leg to stand on. Not one real one. That’s why it’s important to point out your hypocrisy. You are using tabloids. TABLOIDS that got their info from unsourced Wikipedia info. I WILL always quote the policies of this platform, when you can’t seem to comprehend them.
Neither of us have any kind of source. That’s what I’m saying. So what makes your word better than mine? The unsourced information should be deleted.
If you dont have a source why do you change birthdate then? Your whole argumentation falls and nice work with the CSD tag. It will be rejected, thats not how wikipedia works. Shellwood (talk) 00:05, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- Is that the way to talk to someone you’ve never met? Gross. Whatever happened to decency and debate? Thank you for wasting our time today. Please don’t contact me again. ***—SK 00:09, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
