A tag has been placed on Gone with the blastwave, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Gone with the blastwave. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Goodnightmush 14:21, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Staples11, I have nominated the page Gone with the blastwave for speedy deletion per Wikipedia's Criteria for Speedy Deletion, specifically Article 7. There is a specific degree of notability required to have an article in wikipedia for webcomics outlined here, but that is not what is in question. This page does not even attempt to say why the article is notable. If it fits the criteria, the article needs to assert the notability of the comic. Goodnightmush 14:40, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Article 7 is just the article that refers to deletion because there is no "assertion of notability", not that it isn't notable enough. For that please see: WP:WEB. Also, I have added your talk page to my watchlist, so if you wish you can answer here instead of on my talk page and I'll still respond. Goodnightmush 16:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was unable to complete the page before it was taken down. I needed more time to collect the proper sources from newspapers, websites ect. some of which I needed to scan. Staples11 21:30, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Very good. I eagerly encourage you to recreate the article once it can assert the significance of the subject. Please ensure that it at least arguably meets WP:WEB before you do so however, or it may be speedily deleted again. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Also if you place {{helpme}} on this page someone will contact you to help you however you need. Goodnightmush 23:35, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
