Orphaned non-free media (Image:Asian Idol Logo.JPG)
editThanks for uploading Image:Asian Idol Logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:45, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Non-commercial image
editIf you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Carlosguitar 18:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Orphaned non-free media (Image:Jan Nieto On Sis.JPG)

Fair use rationale for Image:Asian Idol Logo.JPG
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Asian Idol Logo.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 20:05, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
verification and other stuff
editTwo things:
1. I removed that picture you claimed was from Willie of Fortune, because it didn't look like it was actually FROM that segment. If you DO know that it is clearly from it, please verify that it is please on my talk page.
2. Don't forget, we can't just load up the whole article with non-free images. Please make sure you review WP:NFCC, even if they DO have rationale, I have seen articles had images removed for having "excessive fair-use images". The Pasalog picture and the Willyonaryo incident picture are good pictures to keep since they either show what it looks like (the pasalog), or the infamous incident. Beans, beans...
editHi. I'm not sure I understand the siginificance of the second reference in Beans, Beans, the Musical Fruit, since the American song isn't mentioned anywhere in that link. Could you explain? Thanks, Zagalejo^^^ 01:53, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- The writer of that article explained how the Filipinos incongruously translated every Philippine folksong during the American colonization as exemplified in the cases of "Sitsiritsit Alibangbang" and "Leron Leron Sinta" (translated as "Maria Went to Town"). Although the writer did not explicitly the translated title of "Sitsiritsit", he indicated that the translation of that song may make use laugh. The song can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yPUkUzxlyU Starczamora (talk) 02:05, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm... I don't know, seems like a stretch to me. I'd prefer to see something that explicity says there is a connection between the two songs. Zagalejo^^^ 22:34, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your opinion. I already replied in the page of Peer Review of Macau. I didn't get what you want me to do, would you please kindly write down your comment specfically over there?? I am looking forward to hearing from you soonest. Coloane (talk) 21:49, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sam Oh Radio Show.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Sam Oh Radio Show.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:24, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
