Thanks. And you're right, I asked him a few days ago when the MitB pic went down to WP:COPYVIO. Original uploader had full rights and didn't approve of downloading, so assumed that was a no go. This worked out better anyway with the high-quality photo w/Funk Man. And the bulldog is AWESOME.

His name's Jerry and he's a super-cool guy who was happy to release the photos for public use, provided he's given proper credit. As you say there's a lot on there that are quite good but I didn't want to impose on a first-time request. He probably wouldn't object if you or I wanted to pursue further. Thanks once again. I believed I had given proper credit to Sgt. Kuhn on the Dolph pic but was unaware there was a seperate boiler for photos taken by those in service. Good of you to update.

Your license was actually wrong, the flickr photo in question would not have been able to be used on Wikipedia if it wasn't taken by a U.S. servicewoman... stupid "=" sign... I didn't follow up on the pic request... I don't even have a flickr :( Also you should upload photos on Wikipedia Commons... you know how to do that? Neither do I really; all you need is a Yahoo, Google, or Facebook ID to sign in. I'm more of a scavenger than a hunter-gatherer when it comes to pictures myself. ^_^ Can still ask if you'd like if there are any you've got your heart set on.

Yeah, you should do it on Commons, I might get around to requesting the Flickr pics later, there's still a free set on Flickr waiting for me so I'll do that first. That and I'm currently adding pics from the last set (Sgt Kuhn) to the articles. Before I request the pictures though, I need to look through the set in more detail... Imma explain why I changed the order of the photos... simply because Punk's involvement with Johnny Ace came later with the later part of the text, so I thought it would fit that the picture with Ace should be below the picture without Ace. Yeah I can see where you're going, just looks wayward to me with the image looking away. But as you said, there's the content issue to think about too. Yes, that is what I was looking for. Unfortunately, while there's nothing wrong with that link, it's weird that http://www.wwe.com/superstars/tysonkidd says IA is unofficial. yeah man. Sorry, but i'm very angry. I have uploaded a lot of photos to commons. But yesterday I saw that also nominated a lot of images of the wwe championship. Also, im from spain, so I edit in spanish wikipedia. The english wikipedia can use copyright photos in some cases, but if they delete the photos from commons, the other wikis are screw. Also, i have a good english level, but i can't understand complicated discussion, so I tried to follow the discussion, but I only read "delete, delete, delete, wp:blahblah, delete"-HHH Pedrigree (talk) 15:34, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
