Hi, please review the edit history of an article before tagging it for speedy deletion. The article has ben vandalized, but is otherwise a decent stub. Thanks, Cenarium (talk) 14:48, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Same for Wheatstone bridge, please be very careful when requesting speedy deletion of an article. Cenarium (talk) 14:50, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem, but you responded on my editor review. Cenarium (talk) 14:53, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Regarding your warning to User:Canadianbaconbarbie
About the warning you gave to Canadianbaconbarbie, the edit in question was a good edit as it removed vandalism by an anonymous editor yesterday. I reverted your revert and replaced your warning to Canadianbaconbarbie with a standard welcome message. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:36, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Re: MgCarter/WP:AIV
Hey there Startstop.
First of all, thanks for your help in fighting vandalism! You're helping to make Wikipedia a better place. For future reference, when you come across a vandal that has made unconstructive edits past the last warning, and is still active, follow the directions at WP:AIV to report him/her. At the moment I have refrained from reporting User:MgCarter, as he/she is currently not active/vandalizing.
Cheers, and happy wikiying!
Speedy Deletion tags, etc
Please don't forget to place the appropriate tags on User talkpages of the article creators as you seem to have done when you tagged Robert bussell. Thank you. Jasynnash2 (talk) 14:19, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- tried to illustrate it for you on my talkpage but, I can't seem to get the actual tag to show for example purposes without listing my talkpage for deletion. Jasynnash2 (talk) 15:16, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Copyedit request
I currently have the article Insane Clown Posse listed as a FAC, and I was wondering if you would be interested in copy editing the text? (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 11:02, 31 May 2008 (UTC))
Yes, I still need help with the copyediting of the article. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 17:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC))
Rollback
After determining you are an experienced and trusted user, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback may be removed at any time.
If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 22:58, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Blackwood, Caerphilly
I have reverted the work of an habitual vandal but had to undo a small edit that you made as well because you corrected the vandals typos. Here is one of the vandals accounts when he does log in. [[1]] Just to let you know. Thanks. harris 578 (talk) 16:03, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Can you help?
I see you were listed as a participant in the League of Copy-Editors so it seems likely you can ... The thing is the Military history wikiproject urgently needs prose pros to help with our best articles. Milhist covers a broad range of interesting and varied subjects from film to biography, battles to weaponry, and Roman emperors to twentieth-century dictators. In Milhist, A-Class has become the last port of call before FAC and we are looking for people to help identify prose and MoS issues at A-Class A-Class Reviews and help fix them prior to featured article candidacy. We also have a copy-editing section in our Logistics Dept and that can always use experienced copy-editors. For most of our articles, you don't need to be a specialist in the subject matter, just good with words.
If you think you can help, please do! Thanks for your time, --ROGER DAVIES talk 04:17, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
This change is not vandalism. "CARMELO ANTHONY RETURNS TO HIS ROOTS IN NBA STREET HOMECOURT" is the title of the PR release used as a reference to show that he was on the cover of the video game NBA Street. Please look at the PR release here. Chengwes (talk) 19:50, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

- No problem. I just didn't want you to think I was some rogue vandal. I've made many, many edits to Carmelo Anthony. I'm actually trying to get it bumped up to GA status. Chengwes (talk) 20:03, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

I wanted to create an article about a band named Barcelona. I looked it up and noticed that an article entitled Barcelona (band) already exsists, but it is not the same band that I would like to write an article about. What other acceptable name can I give the proposed article to distinguish between the two bands? I researched Barcelona (band 2) http://www.wearebarcelona.com and there are plenty of credible sources for which to write the article. Thank you.--Startstop123 (talk) 17:42, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- A solution would be to specify even further. Since they're a rock band and not an indie pop band, I would say go with Barcelona (rock band). Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Chirps•Clams•Chowder) 17:50, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome. If you want, you can put {{for}} as a hatnote in the Barcelona (band) article. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Chirps•Clams•Chowder) 17:56, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
is/are
Guns n' Roses are a single entity - agreed.
Their name however takes a plural form, so in both British and American English, they use are treated as plural - hence the use of "are" rather than "is"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_and_British_English_differences#Formal_and_notional_agreement
on a side note, just in case you ever have to make a similar edit, band names that take a singular form are treated as singular in American English, but plural in British English - so Kiss is .....(as they are American) however Black Sabbath are (as they are British)

I think I was impartial
Thanks for taking an interest in my edit to Yahoo. While I can see that you might want to challenge my facts, I don't see how it's a question of POV. I did not express any point of view. Can you explain that or else replace my addition? Yes, I have read all about core policies and impartiality in Wikipedia. Korky Day (talk) 22:04, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
I have carried out necessary changes in the article Clarion Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. I have corrected the grammatical errors, (which were not made by me) and also worked on style and tone. Please reconsider the changes and do not delete it. I will be grateful if you could remove the attached to it. If possible for you, will you please let me know if the page can be locked for editing?
Thanking you,

Toby Keith
Please see the Toby Keith discussion page and don't just revert without reading. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.180.152.161 (talk) 18:00, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
You reverted the information I put on the Toby Keith article about a minute after I put it up. Was that really enough time for you to check the links I provided and listen that portion of the interview? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.180.152.161 (talk) 18:13, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
