I'm glad you find the list interesting. Of course, it's not really my list--claiming ownership of an article is strictly against Wikipedia guidelines--but that being said, I'm the only one who seems to care much about it, and even I don't much care anymore. It was one of the first things I worked on when I started editing here, and I more or less used it to teach myself WP editing. Nowadays, I just keep an eye on it and kick off the vanity-published, once-published, and pedestrian genre cruft. You're right about both Dale Peck and John Reed: not notable enough. (Well, Peck is notable, but not for his fiction.) I bumped them both. If you look at the Talk page for the list, you'll see that I tried to be inclusive in the hopes that authors would be both added and subtracted, and a worthwhile list would eventually result. If you spot any other marginal writers, feel free to give them the heave-ho. The list is much too large and not particularly useful (however interesting) as is.
