- Hello, further to the above, your edit here removed the pre-existing reference whilst leaving the subsequent reference name entry which assigned the same ref to different statements. This produced a ref error message which would have been noticed if changes had been "previewed" before saving. Please ensure that edits are checked and any errors corrected before saving. Hello,
Please see WP:QUOTENAME where it states "If a person has a well-known common hypocorism, used in lieu of a given name, it is not presented between quote marks following the last given name or initial, as for Tom Hopper which has just Thomas Edward Hopper." The name of the article gives the common name but the lead has the full name without common diminutives of a given name. E.g. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
