editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at White Shepherd. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Zangoose&SeviperMan4055 (talk) 15:47, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
- I could care less about editing privileges. You don’t know shit about a white shepherd. How many do you have? Wikipedia is always asking people to donate, which I have several times, and I never will again because of your bullshit “vandalism” comment. Then again, I’m sure Wikipedia can do without my hundred dollars a year donation, it’s a big company right? StephieRem (talk) 16:01, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
- Perhaps you might like to be a little more WP:CIVIL in your response, and allow initial anger to give way to a polite question as to why your edit was reverted, regardless of what the other editor contends.
- The reason your edit was reverted - it appears to me - was because you did not provide a WP:RELIABLE source to support it. If you have one of those, nobody will be reverting your edit.
- Zangoose&SeviperMan4055, the definition of WP:VANDALISM is "editing (or other behavior) deliberately intended to obstruct or defeat the project's purpose". That cannot be applied to this editor's contribution, and I believe that you employed an inappropriate template in this instance. The appropriate template appears below. NOTE: FOR EXAMPLE ONLY
editHello, I'm William Harris. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, White Shepherd, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. William Harris (talk) 22:04, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
