Joyce Hatto

edit

Very interesting stuff about Hatto. Your research on her life are very commendable. Sadly, the article is getting hit by lots of vandals and editorializers. Let's keep patrolling it to keep the article substantively on the up and up. --Otheus 04:57, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

You reverted an edit by an IP user, and claimed "(←Undid revision 112410149 by 81.79.226.201 (talk) undo vandalism from IP user". Woah! That certainly did not look like vandalism to me! Care to explain? --Otheus 23:17, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I now see that this wasn't vandalism as defined by Wikipedia (and of course it could have been much worse). I'll be more careful about terminology in future. But I do think it was an unhelpful edit, reverting to calling Hatto a 'producer' when you and Antaeus Feldspar had questioned that on the talk page, and reverting to calling Jeremy Nicholas an 'enthusiast' when Malikf had pointed out why 'critic' was more accurate on the history page, in both cases without giving justification for the changes.Stesimbrotus 19:28, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ah, ok. I haven't been keeping up with the talk page recently. I didn't mean to not AGF. Thanks for clarifying. --Otheus 19:53, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
PS. I agree. Unhelpful edit. I would have redacted it myself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Otheus (talkcontribs) 19:54, 4 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Would you mind if I create a basic User Page for you, with something nice and basic? You're too good and serious a contributor for all of us to be "seeing red" whenever you sign your posts. I've prepared a basic one that I think would serve its purpose here: User:Otheus/Stesimbrotus. --Otheus 10:37, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks for the compliments, and for creating the page. I'd wondered why I was showing up in red, but never quite got round to investigating further.Stesimbrotus 18:04, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Glad to help :)--Otheus 07:31, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks, Stesimbrotus, for your latest sterling effort in providing so many references to identifications of original recordings. You've added a great deal to the veracity of the article! -- Jmc 20:11, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
