Notability of Stephen Rule

A tag has been placed on Stephen Rule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Also, I notice that you added a protected template to the article. This is not the appropriate use of that template as it exists as an indicator that an administrator has in fact protected the article. MLA 14:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

What language? Tranwikification needed?

edit

I was wondering what language your article Gwleid Celtaidd is. Remember, this the English wikipedia. Other languages have there own wikipedias. Danski14 18:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I looked it over more carefully and it looks like a number of different things. Please introduce more context to explain what the article is about and why it is encyclopedic. Otherwise, it will be deleted as nonsense. Thanks, 19:00, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

February 2007

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Gwleid Celtaidd. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Danski14 19:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

user space

edit

By all means sign up as User:Stephen Rule but until you have done so, please do not use the space of that user name. -- RHaworth 20:17, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{WikiProject Wales}}

I put "nowiki" tags around this as your talk page is not something that's within the scope of the project. Regards, Bencherlite 11:06, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Steven14rule! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 0 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Iwan B - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Ym Maris listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Ym Maris. Since you had some involvement with the Ym Maris redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. - TheChampionMan1234 00:40, 21 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Iwan B

edit

The article Iwan B has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:SINGER - does appear to have released an album around 2009 but I've found no evidence of it troubling the charts, seems to have had a brief flurry of activity around that time but nothing WP:SUSTAINED.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
