They can also make changes to the MediaWiki interface. How do you request adminship? by entering and passing the Requests for Adminship process (generally, 70% support is required) What are bureaucrats main duties? wasting taxpayer money. ;-) JK... they have control over the nuts and bolts of permissions, and can alter a bot's access levels and can rename accounts. What technical abilities do stewards have? to grant and revoke any higher access level including those noted above plus several others.
