Welcome to Wikipedia!
editDear Steverino: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:
Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! Aleta Sing 03:06, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

editHi, the recent edit you made to K.D. Lang has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. —DerHexer (Talk) 23:34, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Moving k.d. lang
editI noticed that you moved the page K.D. Lang to k.d. lang using a "cut-and-paste" move. I would encourage you to familiarize yourself with WP:MOVE which explains how moves are carried out at Wikipedia. It is necessary to move the history of the page along with the current version, because of legal reasons - we need the contributor history attached to satisfy the conditions of our GFDL licensing scheme. Therefore, I've undone the cut-and-paste move. If the page is to move, it will have to happen via discussion, consensus agreement, and a proper move procedure. Please let me know if you have any questions. -GTBacchus(talk) 23:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
