My Sandbox and Test Area
editA place to collect items for a page before it is created. A place to try info boxes. A place for my testing. --Stnick45 (talk) 22:11, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
The article St. Andrew's Derby has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Basket of Puppies 20:26, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
I will obtain references and fix this one by 1-9. --Stnick45 (talk) 15:32, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of St. Nick Sandbox
editThank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Guess you wanted to create it as User:Stnick45/St. Nick Sandbox or something like that. Favonian (talk) 21:42, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- A friendly admin has moved it to User:Stnick45/Sandbox. Favonian (talk) 21:46, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) That was me. I've also taken the liberty of tidying up the layout by putting * in front of each link so as to arrange them in a neat list. Change that if it isn't what you wanted! Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:49, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thank You JohnCD! I appreciate the help. That was exactly what I was trying to do.I have some experience on a Wiki project related to woodturning. I have contributed a few items to Wikipedia. Looks like I am becoming more active. I appreciate your help and others as I make this journey. --Stnick45 (talk) 22:03, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
