Ifediora Okiche born on the 31st of March 1982 into the royal family of Chief and Lolo Emmanuel Okiche. He had his primary and secondary education in Nigeria. An award-winning educator and writer with an outstanding record of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in writing, research, teaching, mentoring, editing and public speaking. Obtained BA at the Imo State University, MA in English Studies from the University of Port Harcourt and a doctoral candidate at the prestigious University of Port Harcourt. Winner of the Promise Osuafor literary prize in 2005 and editorial assistant to Professor Austin Amanze Akpuda. Formal Coordinator of the Department of Languages and Linguistics at the Arthur Jarvis University. Minus poet, Okiche was a journalist and cultural activist in Nigeria. Served as President of Young Writers Club (Imo State University), Member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA); Formal member of the Arthur Jarvis University Senate. His research focus on post colonial studies, popular literature, ecological studies, literary theory, African drama and poetry. Ifediora first published poetry collection "Cosmic Cycle" partly illuminates Minus Poetry which is relatively new in contemporary poetry. He was a freelance journalist for The Nation and Mirror newspapers. He is married to Amarachi Okiche and they both have a son Jayden Ikemefuna Okiche.
