Speedy deletion of Boundless Planet

A tag has been placed on Boundless Planet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Oh great, let's threaten to disrupt Wikipedia, that's always fun. And yes, because I play a different MMO, that means I instantly want to delete all other rivals. Lemme just walk over to the World of Warcraft page...

Put simply, MMORTS is not a big genre and this is Wikipedia, not Wikitrivia... we don't just go around advertising every little MMORTS in existence! Also, mmortsgamers is hardly the best site for things and just because you want to advertise a site you have a hand in running on Wikipedia, doesn't mean you shouldn't. You lambast me for turning it into an advert for a few games, when you add blatant advertising links and add a bunch of non-notable games. Woohoo for hypocrisy!

• Time of Defiance already has a page, although it is severely neglected and could use significant additions (verifiable additions).
• Fragmented Galaxy has 872 google hits. Now for an MMORTS, that is in beta, that is a dismal result. That is absolutely... for lack of a better word, crap. • Just because other articles of a similar nature exist, doesn't mean that a specific article should. That's just fishing around for evidence that isn't even evidence and is a terrible, terribly slippery slope.
• Boundless Planet may be genre defining, but outside of a relatively small circle, it is largely unheard of. Wikipedia editors not knowing anything about MMORTS games is irrelevant. BP, or any other MMORTS needs general notability, otherwise Wikipedia would be flooded with inside jokes and garage bands.
• And finally, threatening to expose the OBVIOUS CONSPIRACY against MMORTS articles isn't really going to help your argument. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 08:20, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Notability of FG

Well, thanks for insulting my brainchild but I'd like to tell you why FG is important now.

FG has risen in status on google greatly since you comments. This is also a pioneer project. A few college and high school students have managed to put together REAL physics, a server system, models, ground combat sims, and a beautiful prototype GUI with an online help system. And that's without ever seeing each other and without a budget. This is not some school project dictated by professors, it is entirely conceived and managed by the members of the project.

That is why FG is notable.
