Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Genesis by the Gods - cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Genesis by the Gods - cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Blanking maintenance tags
editDo not remove [citation nedded] tags from article until you address the reason for their placement. These tags are placed for a reason. If you continue with this disruptive behaviour you will be reported to an administrator and blocked from editing Wikipedia. 142.167.66.181 (talk) 12:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is the encyclopedia that anyone can edit. You do not need an account to be a valid contributor. I have over 30000 edits without an account and have no intention of getting one. IF you have anti-anon prejudice then you have chosen the wrong hobby. An administrator has been contacted about your ownership issues. 142.167.66.181 (talk) 14:10, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Your understanding of WIkipedia will be greatly improved if you read WP:EDIT, WP:MOS, WP:CITE, WP:V, WP:ATT, WP:AWW and especially WP:RS and WP:NPOV. You seem to have a struggle with those key policies. It is an encyclopedia not a fansite. Please remember that when editing. 142.167.66.181 (talk) 14:18, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Again... read WP:RS and WP:V. You cannot just add some little piece of bracketed text that refers to a book or an interview. That's a WP:ATT vio and a WP:V vio. Citations needs to be verifiable. An inline link must be added to allow all readers to be able to quickly go to the given source and verify that what they are reading is correct. I do not doubt you have some keen interst in the subject. Encyclopedia articles are not books. They are a cold, dry series of facts about the subject in the article title. Superfluous production credits have nothing to do with Mick Taylor and are not required in his article. The page is to be clear of all adjectives and opinions... assumptions and conjectures... no original research. You can use the talk page to add lnks to websites and books concerning specific bits of text. After they have been verfied then they can be included. If you have vested interest in an external source that you yourself have contributed to. That source will have to come under even more scrutiny as it becomes a WP:COI issue which is very serious. 142.167.66.181 (talk) 14:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Obviously there is no point in adding "citation needed" tags to an article if you do not give anyone the chance to relocate the references by doing reversions every 10 minutes, in the process even removing several citations/references that were part of the article.

Listed there is also another critical remark addressed to user 142.167.66.181 about removing content, from the article regarding Gibson Guitar Corporation. Evidently User 142.167.66.181 (and/or his suspected sock puppet) have been busy "cleaning up" or "streamlining" that article too. Strawberryfields100 (talk) 22:55, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
