This is what happens when you post up links to your own magazine:
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Carl.bunderson (talk) 19:30, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry Carl, the links were definitely relevant to the matters as they give examples of counterfeiting, smuggling and power cord issues, have a look at http://www.digitalscale.com/Fraud.html
These are very relevant links but someone else (someone - anyone) needs to put them up instead of me :) --Stredler (talk) 23:57, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm glad you at least recognized the COI in your putting them up yourself. And I maintain that at on at least some of the pages, they are marginally relevant. The spirit of your putting them up seems to be the protection and promotion of your company, not furthering people's understanding of scales and such. - Carl they weren't about scales, I wish you would have checked the link before you killed it. It showed counterfeit cigarette cases, dog tags and other counterfeit/fake items. Perhaps you would consider adding the link back to the copyright or counterfeit pages in the future. Just keep it in mind for the future, no rush and no pressure. --Stredler (talk) 00:17, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
