It doesn't work like that. You must provide independent verifiable sources that LTG meets the notability guidelines. The article also should be encyclopaedic and neutral in tone (non-promotional) and not copied from any website. You are, of course, free to recreate when you are ready. Incidentally, don't abbreviate state names - non-Americans don't necessarily know them. jimfbleak (talk) 18:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

- I do beleive that we meet the notability issues as we have been extenesevly covered by local media and have been considered for state and regional awards. Thank you Streetdoc270 (talk) 03:09, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- If this is so, simply add the
{{hangon}}
template to the top of the page, but do not remove the speedy deletion template until the matter is settled by the Wikipedia community. Thank you of course for contributing to this vast world of knowledge, I'm just keeping an eye out for verifiability. Josh3580talk/hist 03:26, 27 August 2008 (UTC)- Hi Streetdoc. Unfortunately, with the offline references, it's difficult to indicate notability, however, Assuming good faith, I have recreated the article in a subpage of your userspace, at User:Streetdoc270/Lincoln. If you can, try using the "quote=" field of {{cite news}}, so we can see what the offline references said. Regards, Matthewedwards (talk • contribs • email) 17:30, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I was informed by others looking at the doc that it is not ready for 'Prime Time' yet and I will be working hard on getting it up to standardsStreetdoc270 (talk) 21:28, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
List of Hilary Duff songs
editAhh... who says it was encyclopedic ? :-) That's why articles are continually reviewed. You're right of course - well, in my opinion anyway (for whatever that's worth !). In fact, an article Hilary Duff discography already existed, so I've redirected the former to the latter... CultureDrone (talk) 08:17, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the info, I wish you could give me a better Idea of what you are looking for for notability, I beleive that this article meets those guidelines as listed, there is significant coverage by secondary sources that are verifiable, and are independent of the subject. Please reconsider restoring this page. Streetdoc270 (talk) 12:05, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
