Fair use rationale for File:Nimrod2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Nimrod2.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 06:00, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Longview1995.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Longview1995.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:37, 6 December 2009 (UTC). Alternate Cover on American Idiot (song)

edit

Hi, Thank you for finding a better-quality (yet still ok for fair use) alternate cover. However, I noticed that the way you did it resulted in two images being incorrectly licensed, and both eventually being deleted if I have not done anything. Please in the future both: 1. include a fair-use rationale so bots won't whinge to you and delete your precious non-free media and 2. upload a new version on the same file name as already used (if possible - not sure about permissions needed for that).

Anyway, I've edited your image to include licensing info, but it would be appreciated if you can update the source and any other info you have.

Green Day

edit

Please stop creating articles on non-notable Green Day songs, bootleg releases, and songs that were not released as singles. Such articles will either be redirected to the appropriate albums or will be deleted. See WP:MUSIC for guidance on notability of songs and albums. Regardless, our primary criteria for inclusion is that the subject has been covered by reliable sources, per our verifiability policy. These releases would never pass this criteria as they have not been covered by such sources. --IllaZilla (talk) 18:34, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Again, please make sure your topics pass WP:NSONGS before creating these articles. Every officially released, notable single by Green Day already has an article. --IllaZilla (talk) 20:41, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yet again, please don't create articles on non-notable songs that weren't actually singles. "Maria" and "Poprocks & Coke" have been created & redirected before under multiple alternate titles; they were not singles and are not notable for articles. Again, all the notable, officially released Green Day singles already have articles. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:23, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Diseaseispunishmentnetwork.jpg.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 14:48, 7 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 14:48, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:GreenDaysingles.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:GreenDaysingles.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:15, 9 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 08:15, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notice of WP:ANI thread regarding your behavior

edit

Due to your flagrant disregard for Wikipedia's non-free content criteria, continued uploading of non-free images without source and licensing info or fair use rationales, and your recent strategy of falsely uploading non-free images as {{PD-self}}, I have reported your behavior to WP:ANI. Please see the discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:StuckWithMeFan113 and comment there if you wish to defend yourself. Continued disregard for Wikipedia's non-free content policies will likely result in your account being blocked from editing. --IllaZilla (talk) 18:43, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have in fact blocked you for one week. You have no excuse for your continued activities. Your accounts here and at User:Stuckwithmefan112 have been inundated with warnings about your behaviour. And you appear to have disregarded the final warning given you to above. SGGH ping! 19:45, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I didn't know that I would get blocked for ignoring the warnings.

Decline reason:

The warning you got on 1 January clearly states that you would be blocked, and your other account was blocked multiple times. Mr.Z-man 20:54, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
