{{helpme}} I keep seeing tags on the Black Boy Inn page, what else can I do to address this? People just come along and randomly delete my hard efforts! :(

I see you already discovered the talk page of the article. It is the place to discuss this kind of topics. You can also contact the editor who re-added the tag (look at the history of the article to discover who it is) on their own talk page, because they could have forgotten about the article.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Thanks for the civil response. On reflection, the article is better than I originally thought it was and I shouldn't have restored the tags. I suggest taking a look at Wikipedia:Reliable sources - most of your sources are independant of the Inn, it would be better if more of them were. Much of this has to do with writing with a neutral point of view. Any business has the temptation to promote itself in its own publications. Even if they do not, readers may suspect them of doing so. If you can find independant sources that agree with what the Inn says about itself, that will make the article better and strengthen the Inn itself as a source. (It's perfectly fine to list multiple sources for the same piece of information.)

I also suggest taking a look at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Any opinions expressed about the Inn (postive or negative) should come from independant sources and clearly show they are the opinions of those sources, not you as the editor. The fact that you list and source the controversy about the name is a good way of doing this - it shows you aren't here just to drum up business for the Inn.

Also, I'm going to suggest taking a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles, which deals with improving and maintaining the quality of articles. I don't recommend directly nominating the Inn as a Good Article, but pick a few project members and ask for their suggestions on how to improve the article.

I'd also suggest taking a look at Wikipedia:Good articles, specifically the sections labeled Architecture and Urban and Historical sites. If you can find articles on similar subjects, such as other inns or historical buildings (preferably in or near Wales), then they will provide you examples of how an article should be and possibly help you find other editors who could help improve and source the article. Thank you for uploading File:Old picture black boy.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:19, 1 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license.
