editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Herman Koch. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. You appear to be inserting links to promote your own website, which is not a WP:RS. See also WP:SPS. Logical Cowboy (talk) 19:52, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Tananarive Due, you may be blocked from editing. Logical Cowboy (talk) 19:55, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Gretel Ehrlich, you may be blocked from editing. I've removed the promotional link to your own website Logical Cowboy (talk) 20:36, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you harm Wikipedia, as you did at Phillip Lopate with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Okay, no more links. Will review guidelines. Don't know how to reply to your messages. How do I respond to these messages that I just found?
Welcome!
editHello Sturtzland and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, please see:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 21:21, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hopefully the links contained in the above welcome message will get you started on productive editing here. To answer your specific question - how do you answer a question here - you just click on the edit box at the top of the page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, hit return to leave a space (just for neatness) and type away, just as I have done here. You will notice that this comment is indented, again for neatness. To do do this, precede your text with a colon. Never indent just by using the space bar; this does not work. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:07, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- Also; when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. ----Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:10, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
