Talk page guidelines
editHey Stutley, another welcome to you. I've noticed a few of your talk page comments are quite impolite. The community policy on Wikipedia:Civility is quite important to the success of this project, and you will find little support for your efforts should you choose to ignore it. You may find the Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines worth another look as well.
If you feel strongly about correcting an article such as Sulfer aka Sulpher, find a source that meets wikipedia's Wikipedia:Attribution guidelines to support your claim.
Stick around and help maintain these articles! Try a few article edits in addition to your talk page contributions ;). ∴ here…♠ 18:23, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Blocked
edit-- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 18:41, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say that 4 posts this month is trolling and I wouldn't say that my posts have been wind-ups. I happen to believe that wiki would work much better if it was geared towards different nations, it would make it far easier to find interesting mmaterial. Stutley 12:35, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- The frequency of the posts is irrelevant when you post things like [1] and [2]. Cut it out or go away. -- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 17:39, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Your edit to Talk:British Iron Age
editThis may not be a particularly well-referenced article, but edits such as this [3] are far from helpful. If you wish to avoid a further block for "talk page trolling" I suggest you strive for a little more maturity in your contributions. By all means make positive suggestions, but please avoid snide remarks. Ben MacDui 19:34, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I wasn't "trolling" I was pointing out the historical fabrications in the article. Even the National Museum of Ireland no longer refers to Irelands Iron Age tribes as "celts" or "celtic". Reason: they weren't celts.Stutley (talk) 21:00, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- You are perfectly entitled to promote your views if they are based on sound research and reliable sources. You are however not entitled to make remarks that may be construed as lacking in civility at best and racist at worst. If you are having trouble in distinguishing between these two approaches please ask for assistance. Ben MacDui 12:01, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Racist? The whole concept of celts is racist as it has been fabricated to unite various peoples against the English yet has no factual basis. Please give assistance.
- Not everything is English,I think you have failed to identify this,I have removed some of your posts which contain nothing more than racial slurs, I think you need to grow up. The Anglo-Irish war is basically over and you need to stop caring about nationality. You need to stop thinking of Ireland as strongly anti-British and start accepting that Ireland isn't just a small island with no claim to fame. If you wish to change pages on Wikipedia simply because they have the words "Ireland" or "Irish" in it then you will be here for a very long time. I think its time you face facts.
