The person doesn't seem to be a prominent researcher. Should it go for deletion ? - Kesava 13:35, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Hi, I am the person mentioned in this page. Just a note to say that this page was *not* created by me (it is not a case of self promotion). Perhaps one of my former students created this page. Please go for deletion if it is not in the spirit of Wikipedia.
- I'm extremely sorry to have put my teacher in an embarassing situation. I can assure you that it was definitely fancruft and not self promotion. During my early days here, I'd linked his name from my user page and over-zealously created an article on him. It ought to have been a sub page of my user page, where I'm moving this to. I apologise. -- Sundar (talk · contribs) 14:45, Apr 12, 2005 (UTC)
- I'll wait for a day for [the] concerned people to see my apology before deleting this article (currently a redirect) from article namespace. The article and the associated talk page will forever be in my user space. It's unfortunate that the first article that I'm going to delete after getting adminship is this. -- Sundar (talk · contribs) 14:50, Apr 12, 2005 (UTC)
- Srinath and Sundar, I am sorry for having put both of you guys in such a situation. As you know, all I was doing was some routine maintenance job. - Kesava 12:55, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Note: I've deleted the article from article space. -- Sundar (talk · contribs) 11:20, Apr 13, 2005 (UTC)
