edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Houthis. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
I've left the same message on Strivingsoul's page. Viriditas (talk) 22:48, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

. Drmies (talk) 04:10, 13 October 2015 (UTC)@Viriditas:@Drmies: Editor Strivingsoul has been editwarring and at Houthis article with multiple editors for some time (one editor, @Kudzu1: accused him of being partisan before also [1]), and he just wouldn't let it go back to the real long-standing version (one which was here before he started editing the article recently). He cherry-picks sources, sometimes using unreliable ones to push his POV. Even misquoting the sources to push his POV, such as: [2] (caught by @Anders Feder:). Strivingsoul removes what he doesn't like, and lies in edit summary [3], and even admits it when I caught him [4] (claiming " I had missed it in one source which does in fact support the claim that "Houthis are accused by their fellow Zaydis to be converts to Twelver Shia". (I recently also came across a scholarly source supporting the claim to some extent)."). I added a sourced statement that Houthis and Saudi coalition are both fighting ISIS[5], but Strivingsoul was skeptical as "for Houthis to the contrary accuse Saudi Arabia of funding al-Qaead and Sunni extremists in Yemen"[6]. He's clearly a POV editor with pro-Iranian dictatorial agenda.--SunniWarrior (talk) 04:54, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- That may be true, but this is not ANI, and you're just a throwaway account created ex nihilo to stir something up. Ironically, you were partly successful. Drmies (talk) 04:57, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- I for some reason am nolonger able to edit ANI. Copy and paste it there if you want. I could do it after the technical problem is fixed, but that might be too late--SunniWarrior (talk) 05:01, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- That reason would be that you're blocked. Drmies (talk) 05:12, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Drmies: Oh I see it now. And it's you who did it! Was it because my vote was opposite your one at ANI? lol. I thought I was contributing as I do have contributions, according to Wikipedia. So basically you have to add stuff Wikipedia, instead of checking for neutrality, or misquoted of sources? Blocking certainly wouldn't allow contributing. Not that I want to stay here, after the way I was treated, that too by an admin.--SunniWarrior (talk) 05:26, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- Any time an ex-editor is emboldened to take his marbles and go home because he's not allowed to insult other editors is a positive win for the encyclopedia. Ravenswing 07:26, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
